ASWC Logo1 ASWC for the New Year 2013

Happy New Year all! The first half of our fourth season was a blessing. We hosted seven Cafés between September and December, on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month. In December we saluted our members and donors with a free evening of entertainment featuring poet Curtis Crisler, and TRIAAC’s own TRJE/Re-mix. From what you’re saying, the Café is moving in the right direction. Full-speed ahead!

We were real fortunate this fall to regain Jay Carroll’s help, an old friend, Jay, worked with us during the formative stages of the Three Rivers Jenbé Ensemble, which later morphed into TRIAAC. Jay’s coordinating Cafe development; as a result the video output quality for recording artists, and on our Youtube Channel will improve. There are other changes coming in the performance space. Stay tuned.

Thank you to all the artists who gave their time and talent this season: Shout-outs to Dodie Millier, Adam Gaile, Domonica Malone, Jesse West, Rae Surface, and Freddie Dunlap, the Phil Shurger Quartet, Emmanuel Ortiz, Jessica Lopez, Rob, Emmett, Adam “Adosh” Bodnar, Jason Green, Danielle Brewer, Curtis L. Crisler, and the Three Rivers Jenbé Ensemble. And to whet you appetite here’s a taste of Jesse West’s November 12th presentation. Enjoy!

Be Sociable, Share!
