Conde & Camara to lead city’s AfroPop Sextet
Fort Wayne lovers of the cultural arts, Afrika will be in the house in 11 days. Bolokada Conde, the renowned master of the jenbe and Malinke folklore will spend 9 days teaching and playing in Fort Wayne, beginning October 22 and running through October 31.
Bolokada’s Fort Wayne sextet will be led by his fellow countryman, Abass Camara, who has lived and taught in Fort Wayne the last three years.
