Guinean musicians on Summit City horizon

11 days and counting

Conde & Camara to lead city’s AfroPop Sextet

Fort Wayne lovers of the cul­tural arts, Afrika will be in the house in 11 days. Bolokada Conde, the renowned mas­ter of the jenbe and Malinke folk­lore will spend 9 days teach­ing and play­ing in Fort Wayne, begin­ning Octo­ber 22 and run­ning through Octo­ber 31. 

Bolokada’s Fort Wayne sex­tet will be led by his fel­low coun­try­man, Abass Camara, who has lived and taught in Fort Wayne the last three years.
